This has given this rice a distinct identity and its demand is increasing in the domestic and international markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Features:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;* Origin and Cultivation: This rice has been cultivated exclusively in Wada taluka for hundreds of years. It has evolved from the traditional varieties of rice called \u2018Jini\u2019 or \u2018Surat\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;* Quality: Wada Kolam rice is known for its distinctive taste, aroma, softness and lightness. It is easy to digest and contains a lot of starch, vitamins, proteins and carbohydrates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;* Appearance: This rice has medium grain and slightly off-white color.
