Government Decision No. Pnv-2020/Pr.No.59/Finance-4 dated 26 June 2020 from the Rural Development Department, as per the guidelines of the 15th Central Finance Commission, the basic basic grant is of untied nature. The said grant is used by the rural local self-government bodies on other necessary matters as per local needs, excluding employee salaries and establishment matters. Tied/tied grant Tied grant is used for 1) Maintenance and repair of sanitation and open defecation-free local self-government bodies 2) Drinking water supply, water recharge / rainwater harvesting, water recycling.
