Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural Objectives

1. To provide shelter to the beneficiaries in Form B who have been qualified by the GramSabha as per the Socio-Economic and Caste-wise Census 2011 .

2. 60% of the targets are reserved for Scheduled Castes/Tribes and 40% for other beneficiaries as well as 15% for minority beneficiaries and 3% for disabled beneficiaries.

3. It is necessary to have a toilet in the house.

4. The beneficiary must have his own land for the construction of the house.

5. For the beneficiaries who do not have their own land, the amount of the prevailing land price or Rs. 50,000/- whichever is more than the beneficiary, will be provided under the Pandit Din Dayal Upadhyay Yojana. (Document registration of this land purchase transaction is required. Rs. 10,000/-) For wages, 90 days' wages at Rs. 201 per day are provided by the NREGA department by incorporating MGNREGA.

 

Scheme Details :- :-

1. It should be in Form B as qualified by the Gram Sabha as per the Socio-Economic and Caste-wise Census 2011.

2. Must not have previously availed the benefit of this scheme.

3. Priority selection of families of natural calamities, disabled, abandoned, divorced, ex-servicemen and war veterans. (Selected from SECC 2011).

 

Grant and Benefits :-

1. Under this scheme, 60% subsidy is received from the Central Government and 40% subsidy from the State Government. As per the guidelines of the Central Government, the cost of the houses has been fixed at Rs. 1,20,000/- and Rs. 1,30,000/- for very remote, hilly and Naxalite areas. Out of the amount of Rs. 1,20,000/-, subsidy is provided for the construction of new houses. In this, the Central Government's subsidy share is 60%, in this the State Government's subsidy share is 40%. The subsidy above Rs. 1,20,000/- can be deposited in the beneficiary's bank account through the PFMS system.

2. Construction of a house with a minimum area of ​​25 sq ft. The details of distribution are as follows (from 2017-18).

3. While sanctioning the house, first installment advance Rs. 15,000/-, second installment Rs. 45,000/-, third installment Rs. 40,000/-, fourth installment Rs. 20,000/-

4. During the construction of the house, the toilet also has to be constructed in the dark.
