Ramai Housing Scheme

Scheme Details :-

1. The beneficiary should belong to a Scheduled Caste family below the poverty line. 

2. Disabled beneficiaries who are not below the poverty line, their disability should be more than 40% and their annual income should be up to one lakh.

3. Beneficiaries should be selected from a permanent waiting list prepared on the basis of the Poor Household Census Survey.

4. Must not have availed the benefit of this scheme before.

Grant and Benefits :-

1. Under this scheme, 100% subsidy is received from the State Government. A subsidy of Rs. 1,20,000/- is provided for the construction of a new house. In this, the construction of the house should have a minimum area of ​​269 square feet. The details of the distribution are as follows:

2. While sanctioning the house, the first installment is Rs. 15,000/-, the second installment is Rs. 45,000/-, the third installment is Rs. 40,000/-, and the fourth installment is Rs. 20,000/-.

3. Toilets also have to be constructed during the construction of the house.

4. Shabari Tribal Gharkul Scheme Objective:

  • To improve the living standards of the Scheduled Tribes living below the poverty line in the state and to solve their housing problem, by constructing permanent houses on their own land or in place of mud houses in rural areas.
  • Providing housing benefits to disabled beneficiaries from Scheduled Tribes who are not below the poverty line, whose disability is more than 40% and whose annual income is up to one lakh.
  • It is necessary to install a toilet and a stove in the house.
  •  The beneficiary must have his own land for the construction of the house.
