Zilla Parishad Cess Scheme - Financial assistance to women from Bachat group for purchase of poultry birds

Key conditions (1) The applicant should be a member of a women's self-help group registered with Umed Sanstha (2) The applicant or his/her spouse should not be employed in a government, semi-government or local self-government institution or should not be retired. (3) The applicant should submit a certificate from the Gram Sevak, Gram Panchayat that they have the facilities of shelter, water and food for raising poultry. (4) The beneficiary should purchase 10 poultry birds (poultry group) of at least 8 to 10 weeks of age. (5) The poultry group should be of improved indigenous (Giriraj, Vanraj, Kaveri etc.) breed. (6) For purchasing one poultry group per beneficiary, 90 percent of the purchase price but a maximum of Rs. 1125/- will be directly deposited in the bank savings account of the beneficiary.
