1. Providing necessary facilities to disabled children in recognized special children's aided and unaided schools. In this scheme, students in schools for disabled children coming under the Social Welfare Department will be provided with materials according to their disability needs.
2. Organizing district-level sports competitions within special schools in the district. So that disabled children are encouraged to play various sports and sportsmanship is enhanced.
3. Organizing various meritorious competitions for differently abled students. This scheme is implemented for differently abled students in schools of the district through the Education Department (Prath), Z.P. Palghar.
4. Organizing skill workshops for disabled students. This scheme is implemented by the Education Department (Primary), Z.P. Palghar for disabled students in Z.P. schools.
5. Providing therapy materials at the taluka level for disabled students. This scheme is implemented by the Education Department (Prath), Z.P. Palghar for disabled students in Z.P. schools.
6. Financial assistance for purchase of buffaloes for disabled livestock keepers. This scheme is implemented through the Animal Husbandry Department for disabled farmers and disabled livestock keepers in the district.
7. Providing materials to disabled women. This scheme is implemented by the Women and Child Development Department by supplying necessary materials to disabled women in the district.
8. Financial assistance for vocational computer training for persons with disabilities. Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to students with disabilities to undertake vocational computer training.
9. Financial assistance for education of children of disabled parents. Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to the children of disabled persons in the district for further education from 10th standard onwards. So that disabled persons do not deprive their children of education.
10. Financial assistance for self-employment of persons with disabilities. Under this scheme, various business related items will be provided to persons with disabilities for self-employment.
