Nature of the scheme:- Palghar district is a tribal dominated district and the government has approved 60 secondary ZP schools to provide further education facilities to the students passing class 8 of the Zilla Parishad Upper Primary School. Since the teachers were not available to the schools from the government, teachers have been provided under this scheme. Criteria of the scheme: Selection of qualified and trained Marathi and Urdu medium teachers for the subjects of Science, Mathematics and English to teach classes 9th and 10th.
